Chin Meng-Hsuan is an artist from Taiwan and works primarily with paintings and drawings. First trained in Literature and later in Fine Art, her works reflect on the ambiguities of memory and perception. She is interested in the aspects of life that are ineffable or partially recognisable. Being inspired by elements from daily life—visuals, text, and sound—she explores the interplay of thought processes, bodily sensations, and materials. This serves as a foundation for her practice of painting. In her methods, artworks not only provide spaces for memory, emotion, and meaning to intersect, but convey energy from the act of painting.She sees herself as a medium of mediums. A medium that transmits the language proper to the painting materials.

台灣藝術家秦孟萱的作品主要以平面創作為主。大學時期主修文學，而後轉往視覺藝術，她的創作繪畫主題多半圍繞著記憶裡感知的曖昧性，發掘生活中那些不可言說或只能部分辨認之處。藉由汲取生活裡的視覺和聽覺元素，探索思考過程、身體感知和繪畫材料的連動，並以此作為繪畫本質上的實踐。她傾向描繪記憶、情感與意義交疊的場域，嘗試以繪畫的動作傳遞能量。她視畫家為媒介/靈媒般的角色。
